  While I had strep throat, I called in at 9:15 am to have them transfer over a prescription from CVS to Walmart. They said no problem and it would be a few hours. The person I spoke to was very friendly and seemed quite competent. Walmart has automated texts when prescriptions are ready and by 12:30 pm I hadn't received any texts and my throat was incredibly sore. I called at 12:30 pm and they were very confused and said they only had a steroid on my transferred prescription and not a zpack. They told me to call CVS and Promedica and make sure the order was correct. When my husband called because it was too painful to talk, Walmart said they didn't have any information when I provided it all that same morning and they were extremely difficult to deal with. When all was said and done, I didn't get my prescription until my husband physically went there with the original prescription in hand and yelled at them until they filled it correctly. It was 2:30 pm by the time I got my meds and I was in so much pain. They need to streamline and improve their communication methods.
